| Is procurebot compatible with existent Integrated Information Systems platforms, like SAP or Edwards?. |
|
Yes it is. Procurebot may be connected to any of those platforms via XML interfaces and they are built in inside its structure. However we advise to proceed stepwise as we advised in the former question. The agent should be considered as a humble extra investment in intelligence, perhaps the best way to begin implementing "soft" intelligence in a practical and economic way providing useful things from the beginning even without being "noticed" by the rest of the corporation. It only needs to be acquainted by the people who is going to manage some type of e-Procurement Pilot Case. If you have an Integrated Information System keep it working as usual. Of course procurebot will in the future replace with significant advantages conventional e-procurement cycles and sub cycles but we have to face those eventualities with care and caution. Take into account that Procurebot belongs to a fourth generation of software. In a near future probably most integrated systems will operate with agents but in the interim you may short cut the time you need to enter successfully into the role playing of big corporations. In less than a couple of years most e-Procurement will go towards Buyers integrated with their Suppliers and procurebot will aid you to build the duct where your procurement go through as a continuum!. |
